Photography, Recording, and Social Media Policy
PHOTOGRAPHY
The League of Women Voters of the United States (LWVUS) reserves the right to take still photographs/screenshots of events at our convention and Council events for possible publication on its web site, newsletter, or other official publications. By attending these events (in-person or virtually), attendees are granting permission to LWVUS to be included in such images.
RECORDING
Out of respect for our speakers, please do not use any visual or audio recording devices to record speakers during their presentation. LWVUS will provide recordings as allowed post-event. LWVUS may record speakers for our archival purposes.
Due to the internal nature of our agenda, we ask that you do not record or share any part of the general session.
SOCIAL MEDIA
All League events are full of thoughtful and intellectual exchanges. We encourage attendees to engage on social media so that the conversation can stretch virtually.
You can follow LWVUS on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. There is no official hashtag for Convention, but feel free to mention @LWV as you share content.
Please do not take any screenshots or photos of any presentation or slide that details internal League business and share on any social media platforms.
Please do not Tweet, post on Facebook, or otherwise share any internal League business on the internet.
LWVUS is not responsible for the content of third-party social media websites and does not make any representations regarding the content or accuracy of materials on them.
For any questions about these guidelines, please email communications@lwv.org
